On and offline recruitment brand

Every job applicant used to receive a form and a 24 page information pack. This was heavy to post, too dense to read and a missed opportunity to convey the council’s key messages and ethos.

Pure benchmarked recruitment best practice with councils from around the UK before starting the branding process. We also developed an employee journey that guided the applicant from the job advert, through to application and eventual appointment.

The flagship innovation is an online feature combining photography, video interviews and an introduction to the Cumbria County Council’s P.R.I.D.E. ethos.

Pure re-wrote all written content for the process and the result delivers key messages in a variety of jargon-free user-friendly formats.
